Used this for the first time....won't use again. I used the Advanced Graphene coating on my Velocity Blue Mustang a few years ago with good results and still works well. In prep for a car show, I decided to use the Boost product for enhancing the shine. After washing the vehicle and bringing into the garage on a 70 degree morning, it went on easily and thought I didn't have any streaking when using a two towel method. However, when getting it out in the sun later that day, I noticed a large number of problem areas that I had to correct. It's ironic I had minimal issues in using the Advanced Graphene product, but this maintenance product was a headache.

Do I need to do the surface prep spray before I do this ceramic coating?

Do you need to buff and wax after using iron remover and clay bar ?

Would this work with a water tank for mobile detailing ? If so which type of water tank? Would I need a subpump ?

Adams is all I use on my, and my customers vehicles. I know there has been some talk (I have insider info!) about getting more types of pads like Lake Country has. Any update on that? I forget his name, but every time I stop in the showroom (Thornton) on the weekends, your employee (drives a white Tesla) is 10/10 fantastic service. That guy is a true asset to your company.

Audio sucks. Every week you seem to have a different technical problem.

Looked like an interesting topic but the audio quality was poor from Joe’s microphone so I gave up trying to listen half way through. Could you do a set up for these sessions like Griot’s so the audio is consistent week to week and the video would present in a full frame landscape video on my iPad instead of only the portrait view when you shoot on a smart phone? Thanks for continuing this series since I watch each week’s Wednesday live.

Very happy with the spray. i figured the spray would be more forgiving to mistakes and I only drive 2 days a week so hopefully will last a while. It was my first DIY coating, did the iron decon, clay bar, and surface prep too. It wasn't as hard to do as I thought it would be; in fact it was kind of fun. Car stayed super clean after driving through rain/mud.

What car wash should you use before you do this? I have a wash and wax would that be fine or does it need to be a strip wash?

I am an avid off roader. I live in the desert also, Henderson NV. I just took ownership of the brand new 2024, Colorado ZR2 in Glacier Blue. It was a trade on my 2018 ZR2. I F'ed up that truck with in 2 hours of driving off the lot with what y'all call Arizona pen strips. I hade the clear coat buffed out twice at 2 to $300 a pop (you can only do that a couple times before you need a new clear coat $$$). I am TERIFIED to mess this one up the same way. Do you have that much faith in this product? I will order today.

How are the resin filters any different than a household water softener? Water softeners don’t remove everything.

Chris is the carrier solvent in the sprays the same as the carrier solvents in the small bottles? If not are they compatible?

Don’t do it yourself. Pay an expert to prepare and coat your car.

I just applied the graphene ceramic coating for the first time and saw a couple high spots about 12 hours later. I was just able to go wipe them down real good and they went away

This is a great discussion on cleaning and protecting all weather floor mats. Slick mats are to be avoided as you noted, and sometimes it can be the different materials used on the bottom of our shoes react with the protection product

Guys, I thoroughly enjoy using a lot of your products but that mat protectant really ain't it. I tried it on two different types of mats both became slippery. Really disappointed.

I had a literal nightmare for my first time using this the other day. We had a heat wave in Cali. It was 95f even in my shop. High spots GALORE. and nearly immediately after applying. I had to run a 30 second cure time... working on a 2 ft section at a time. Anyone have any pointers? Did I do something wrong?

This is the way I clean my truck year round except I do it at night when no one’s else is out and I can take all the time I need in the world to wash my truck. Reason being, my well water leaves too many hard water spots. Any tips or tricks to use my well water at home??

I have left over ceramic coating (small bottle not the spray able) is it safe to use instead?
