isnt claybar leave soft scratch also? even grandma bag can leave scratch right?? they leave scratch in the clear coat, even with water spray. or just try it on motorbike clear coat, its leave "tht soft soft scratch" isnt???

My question is regarding wearing rubber/nitrate gloves while drying. I noticed that you had none on and also your ring was exposed. I'm really confused reading they chances of getting hand/palm prints onto the vehicle that you just worked so hard in cleaning. Your answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul White from WV..

I do it like this too and when it's not working quickly I sprinkle some water on the glass and buff and it removes faster

Did I miss the roof being dried? Looks like it was not used to dry it with the air canon or towel. Add 2 min. to the time. 😁

Some great tips! I would only add a couple of cautions. For one thing, be careful shooting for "perfection." I know that's in the eye of the beholder, but probably for most vehicles, that's not a goal to be aiming for. And second, be sure and measure that clear coat before you dive in with compound and microfiber/wool pad. It's getting thinner and thinner every year, and you can compromise the future of the vehicle in an instant by being too aggressive. But some great tips here to get folks started!

So nothing was mentioned about a pad conditioning, or a damp towel to wipe the polish residue then a dry towel to buff out? How many pads per car/panel? Help a novice please lol

I just bought my first kit and what I can’t seem to avoid are little white specs of polish / compound that get flicked up on to other areas of the car. Super hard to remove and it’s super frustrating. I’m not using a ton of compound / polish and I’m making sure that I prime the pad and blotting it out on the area I’m working on.

I love the video, great job on explaining everything, but I’d caution telling beginners to go for perfection, it’s all messaging but I’d say to strive enhancement, you don’t want to burn through the clear

Joe, thx for taking the sword on last week’s audio. Today’s audio was spot on! Another great topic this week Joe! I used a Cerakote product in the past for textured plastic restorer, although since I’m all in on Adams, I’ll have to give yours a shot now. For a brand new car, what would you recommend to protect textured plastic moldings? I just ceramic coated mine with Graphene. Any suggestions? BTW Anthony at your Anaheim store rocks, had lots of good conversation with him a few weeks ago.

I'm not a professional detailer, only do my own vehicles in my driveway. I keep the water from my basement dehumidifier in 5 gallon buckets and use it in a 2 gallon garden spray to rinse the car. Then go over it with a decent drying towel.

You should prep with a spray to remove all waxes before doing a true ceramic coating, a true ceramic will not bond to the paint if a wax is remaining on the vehicle.

Wash your Matt's once a week ......done, don't get me wrong, I use chemical guys all the time for the interior, but some stuff you don't need.

Used this for the first time....won't use again. I used the Advanced Graphene coating on my Velocity Blue Mustang a few years ago with good results and still works well. In prep for a car show, I decided to use the Boost product for enhancing the shine. After washing the vehicle and bringing into the garage on a 70 degree morning, it went on easily and thought I didn't have any streaking when using a two towel method. However, when getting it out in the sun later that day, I noticed a large number of problem areas that I had to correct. It's ironic I had minimal issues in using the Advanced Graphene product, but this maintenance product was a headache.

I forget his name, but every time I stop in the showroom (Thornton) on the weekends, your employee (drives a white Tesla) is 10/10 fantastic service. That guy is a true asset to your company.
